Background

Mr. Joyce was raised in Vero Beach, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in animal science and, after earning his graduate degree from the University of Idaho, moved to Jacksonville.

Mr. Joyce is a Florida Bar Board Certified Construction Attorney. He has extensive experience representing owners, developers, contractors, and suppliers in complex disputes involving construction defects, design defects, and construction liens on a variety of residential and commercial projects including condominiums.

Mr. Joyce is also a Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. In this role, he is happy to serve as a neutral for all manner of business and construction related disputes with the goal of assisting litigants in finding common ground, identifying practical and creative solutions, and bringing an end to the conflict.

Mr. Joyce is a past recipient of the Bennett Scholarship given by the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar and has completed the Advanced International Trial Advocacy Program at Oxford University.
